But they're ponies.  They cannot use their legs and hoofs for anything other than walking on... they don't even have fingers!

I realise it's not real but it's breaking reality for children all over the world.

Well the unicorns have telekinesis, but the town in that episode is populated entirely by regular ponies, so we can't explain it with that. You probably shouldn't think about it too hard.
