I'm sorry.  Maybe she just needs time, some people take awhile to get over that sort of thing.

Some people do that, but its not for me.  There are 40 year-old people who legitimately do go to school though; some people choose to have career experience before returning to school to get a postbacc degree.  

I'm done with college after this spring, hopefully.
