Niiice

Either that or your grandpa has a really great imagination, because there seem to be a lot of implied details and threads driving the characters thoughts and actions. Albeit, as you said, seemingly mundane threads and details.

Oh no they're not implied, I'm just not quoting the parts that state them. I am pretty sure there is nothing subtle about this work!

I think it's not possible.

These are a lot of words, many of them are angry.

I went with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but there is still a lot to do. :\ And some of  the tracks are too short to scrobble anyway.

The best is the part at around 2:38, after Bob says "how to die" and then it zooms in on his face afterwards. THEN there's teh random guy in the background doing who knows what while Bob sings, for about five seconds, before he just freezes - but stays there. XDDD

3,800 words today, I am tired and going to bed, typing is getting too difficult and I don't want to be awake anymore. For some reason this morning I got up 8:30 even though I went to bed at 3, and I never managed to get a nap in during the day. I tried, but then I couldn't fall asleep, it was annoying. I hadn't anticipated so many of these pages being from a typewriter and mostly unedited. I wonder how long it took him to type this up the first time. There are around 80 typewritten pages, and while there's been some heavy editing for content on some pages, there are almost no typos.

I was always bored to tears by that one, even when I was really really into VDGG. The lyrics are pretty w**ky too.

Still Life is the #2 VDGG album after Pawn Hearts, imo. Both 5 star albums.

Normally I can get into Hammill's emo lyrics, but Still Life just sounds like he's trying way too hard and it gets silly. And yet the music is all soft and slow, it's weird.

Anyway, I'm actually going now.

Yeah, it's a pretty good battle between Pawn Hearts. Now that you mention it, I'm not sure which would come first in my book...

I guess they are kind of silly although they were obviously inspired by children's books.

OK, see you in ten minutes. (maybe 5)

Musically, Godbluff is my favorite so far, and Pawn Hearts overall. I haven't listened to Still Life enough to decide anything about it, though.
