Altrock and Fading Records are proud to announce the release of The Village to the Vale, the debut album by the Brighton-based band Autumn Chorus. Try to imagine a green and pleasant landscape, really old-Brit, or the magnificent sound of a cathedral, and you'll get the point of this music. Robbie Wilson's voice is sustained by electric ad vintage sounds - recalling English classical symphonic and Sigur Ros - and orchestral music, as in a dreamy film soundtrack. A masterpiece between prog, folk, post-rock. Between past and future.

Release date: May 15th 2012

Hi, I'm discovering right now Factor Burzaco, at progsreaming.com, just sound great. Hope I could listen to it soon, but I'm overload with new discs I have to listen too. Unhappy
I'm spinning right now the Dave Willey's Immesurable currents disk, which I invited from Altrock the minute it was available. Great music. I hope it would be presented on PA, but I'm not sure to which category it should belong - crossover prog maybe? also I ordered some 2010 disks this time: Yugen, Picchio + Yugen, and Rational Diet. When I'll find to listen to these I dont know. anyway thanks SmileThumbs Up

Have gotten the previous batch of 4 cds (and started working on reviews). Once I'm done with these, I'll look forward to this fantastic new batch. Highly excited about how October Equus have developed. I have heard The Nerve Institute (excellent work by M. Judge) and I like what I have heard from Ske and I have a like the previous Abrete Gandul album.

Again, kudos for this splendid label(s) and the people that run it.
