And my prophecy comes true - by labelling me contrary you have put me in a pigeon-hole, and thus at least started to structure the way you interpret the personality I put onto this forum, instead of reacting in a random, unstructured and chaotic manner.

The structure in your chromosomes means you have no choice in this. Simply by replying - or not replying to this post, you are responding to the structural calls made by the chemical reactions in your DNA. I know about that which I speak - I learned about it in Northampton.

Pity the Northampton reference wasn't picked up...

You really have this overwhelming need to structure things, don't you?  It like practically consumes you.  My thinking that you are contrary in no way pigeon holes you or fits into a structure. Your assumption that I have an overwhelming need to structure things just put me into another little pigeon hole - my assessment of you as the structuring type is amassing further evidence...  You could do something completely the opposite later and my assessment could change.. or I could just forget I was even thinking that... there is no structure to that!   Actually, that would be the structure...

You need to get out of the box everyonce in awhile and look around... its nice and chaotic out here... What would be funnier - me saying "I like my box", or "Your chaos is my order..."???

Heck and I'm not saying that I don't have some structure in my life. I evidently do.. I go to work, I pay my bills, I eat and I even sleep once in awhile... Ha! Caught!! You WERE saying that structure is unnecessary... I win... I rule... or something... what were we talking about again???

Oh yeah - who could possibly "wear the ELP mantle?".

I guess that's you, TF - at least, no-one flies the flag like you

That album has one redeeming grace... Greg Lake's voice sounds just marvelous on it... Actually I'm playing "One by One" from that right now...

Luv you too!!

Now we should discuss just how talented Greg was in that he could play lead and bass guitar and sing all at the same time while chewing a lot of gum... He's just genius!

Oh there I go easily throwing that word around again... I am bad!

Lake is the "Jack of all trades" but the master of none ? - Is that harsh ?

He certiainly plays a nice acoustic, and some nice bass licks but Howe/Hackett/Squire/Lee have him beaten...

I'm not that partial to his singing voice....Gabriel/Mann (RIP) is the vocalist of my choice....

Heresy to TF obviously, but nevertheless valid for those who don't care what a musician looks like !

Or we could discuss Geddy doing all of that, but in lieu of chewing gum, he was playing Moog Taurus bass pedals with his feet!
