I had no idea, nobody had written anything about it at that point.

Grounding in # has some good songs, but my interested waned fairly quickly.  At least Trisector only has a few terrible places (among some generally good and memorable music).

Ha well at least you have recognisable players in the top flight, i doubt i'll ever see many Ex-Rushden or Northamptoners in the prem.

He's about the only one.

Although we did have Michael Carrick on loan once...

I mean travel far primarily to see a concert. The most I might do is the 5 hour drive to NYC, but even then I've never actually done it.

That's much more than we'd have to do. I suppose Rico's flight took about one hour, maybe one hour and a half. Budapest, in Hungary, where a lot of great bands come, is only a five hours drive from Rico's hometown in Romania.

And yeah, he took a longer vacation to see Rome, afaik.

I'd love to go abroad to see a band, it'd be much better than driving to the nearest city every time.

James, I used to be excited about the new Battles too, until I heard the single. The lack of Tyondai shows quite strong.

The farthest I've been is either London, Birmingham or Worcester.

I usually have to go to Birmingham. The closest any bands tend to come now is Cambridge

I heard Tyondai wasn't a part of it... I'll still try and check the album out though.

I did hear Tyondai's solo album.  It wasn't bad but not as good as Battles' debut.

I actually am still pretty excited for the new Battles.  Tyondai's childish vocals were definitely my least favorite aspect of the band, I would actually consider this an improvement.

Indeed, you shouldn't have PM'd about you going, Rico.
