Kevin, do you think I'd need the 30" scale to get down to Tosin's E tuning with enough tension? I don't think I'd be able to handle the 30" scale though, so I'm probably gonna go for the 28.628".

I'd go with the 28" option.  30" is pretty massive, but that's more for the 9's.

Greetings, Joel! Hope you feel better soon.

It's not bad.

It's one of Steven Wilson's favourite current bands, I can bet that's how Jordan found them. Big smile

Nah, I listened to them a bit before. Not as much as I do now, though.
Knowing Steven Wilson likes them a lot is pretty awesome, doubtless.

Do you like them, Alex?

Computer failure happened haven't had my main laptop for a month now. I've actually been listening to music more than usual though. Hopefully I'll get back online fully in a month or two.

Oh, that sucks. Mine died about a month ago, too. Had to get a new one. Got an excellent HP.

Is February computer-failure month? LOL

I do, but only superficially, they didn't impress me much so far.

I remember Pekka talking about going to see Shearwater live.  I can't remember if he actually made it to that show, or if that was the one that he wanted to go to, but he got sick just before the concert and wasn't able to go.

A good friend of mine was a drummer and his main inspiration was Carl Palmer. He had a full Ludwig set with 8 toms and 6 or 7 cymbals and all that ... and one day his drum set was stolen at a place they were playing in Portland ... he never drummed again! And he was good! Tom Payne is his name and on the net with some of his music. Really good singer as well, and when he stopped drumming it was to sing.
