Yeah, that'd be why. Chances are it'll be gone in 3 or 4 hours. You should be fine after that as long as you don't make that into a daily habit

But if I keep getting 70% in tests it will become a daily habit

Ah, that sucks. I'd recommend avoiding blasting the Meshuggah for too long if you don't want tinnitus though (and trust me, sh*t's absolutely horrible). What course are you taking btw?

Tinnitus sucks I've had it for about 8 months and have to have an operation to clear my ears out in a couple of months.

Indeed, it does suck. Mine was quite terrible about a year ago but has since calmed down a lot now to where I barely notice it/get ringing at all. How're you otherwise Mark?

Pretty good. It's my day off thankfully so I don't have to mobile for a few hours SCORE. And with a little luck my new bundle of Marillion albums should be arriving today
How about you? 8 string existent yet?

Good to hear about the Marillion, I need to catch up with their stuff again. Been ages. What albums have you ordered, out of interest?
Still haven't decided on a colour unfortunately like I said last page though, I'm setting my deadline to order it as tomorrow night.

Good to hear so you'll be banging out the Animals as Leaders tunes in no time
I ordered Brave, This Strange Engine and Afraid Of Sunlight so I should get through a couple of them today, if they arrive

I'm more interested in using the lower end in an ambient context than anything else, although just f**king around with it should be good fun.
Brave and This Strange Engine are easlly two of the finest albums you'll ever hear, and AoS has it's moments too. Enjoy

I shall.
Yeh experimenting with low end guitars is fun I've messed around with a 7 string and lots of reverb before and got some pretty scary sounds. 8 strings sound even more fun.

I got some epic sounds with droning reverb (pre delay up and mix up) in drop D so I can only imagine how crazy stuff would get an octave down

Co produced these guys first EP which apparently should be out soon. They're quite proggy on some songs. And just noticed they posted their own demo on he homepage (they think they can do my job better than me, observe that they can't)
