I would never do so except for the time I did Ann Coulter briefly for fun, but I see some guys doing this a bit. LOL
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I'd say the real worry is when people who are neither cartoons nor animals start masquerading as such.

And I am not really a Finnish Racecar Driver

Why people do it? Because Slarti this is an internet forum! It's what guys do, use a picture of a hot girl as their avatar because it's what we do.

LOL

I don't consider my avatar a representation of who I am, more as something visually recognisable and interesting, and unique enough that people will know it's me when they see it beside a post.

This avatar, btw, is an image from a game I am currently programming.

See, I would dispute whether you are indeed a pencil-drawn woodland creature. In contrast, who would argue that I am not devilish, bi-winning and loaded with tiger blood?

Look I'm not just a pencil-drawn woodland creature.  I have a personality too.  And at the moment after the distinctly dull week I have had I may actually be a Groundhog after all.

You, I would dispute, do not have nor ever have had horns growing out of your head?  You may spend too much time under sunbeds though.
Help me I'm falling!
