I don't think you're really moving unless something gets broken. LOL
All my CDs and DVDs are boxed.  The household electronics remain in place including the musical instruments.  We're hiring movers for the big push and heavy lifting.  The odds against things breaking are significantly improved by the place being just two miles away.

And I have to tell you it looks sharp.

I post pics when we're settled in.

By this time tomorrow we should be out of here and back in.  You got to get out to get in.  I'll be out of contact for a while except from work for a few days.  Pretty sure that wont bother anyone.

Slarty my friend, I wish you the best of luck with things.  You have had a rough period here and deserve some good luck and peace.  Smile

Oh, and be sure to take good care of the Men At Work cassette tape.Wink

It has gone on to a better place.CryTongue Perhaps it went down underJ  I will never hear it again.

The house has some really nice interior colors.  Still a little bit of work to be done but then houses tend to be ongoing projects anyway.

Last time we moved I boxed up all the albums and CDs myself. I asked the removal company how many to put in each box - they said fill'em, we can carry anything... so I did.

Every box they carried from old house to the lorry and from the lorry into the new house: "Blimey mate, what's in here? Heavy Metal?" ... 40 bloody times I heard that damn "joke". LOL
What?

I got the deluxe edition when it first came out.  It's got a packet of seeds which I confess I've never opened or planted.

Well as figures on the final day of moving out it's raining.  It will be doing so all day an into early Sunday.  Need to find out if the movers can still move stuff in the rain.  There's some stuff that we can still move despite bad weather.  It's really weird I am tired at the same time but right now I can't sleep.

Well, what can I say?  Lots of work accomplished and lots ahead.  By the way Dean, the blinds are going up today.  You all can show up but we'll be able to ignore you visually. Tongue

However, you all could party on the bridge. Big smile

You should make a prog album about your flooding experience, Slarti.

"Flooded" - Slartibartfast (2011)

1. "The Water's Dawn" (19:23)
2. "Crap!" (7:52)
3. "We're About to be Flooded" (32:19)
I. "Oh No" (1:39)
II. "It's Not Possible" (6:21)
III. "We're About to be Flooded" (7:20)
IV. "It Happened" (instrumental) (10:17)
V. "What to Do Now?" (5:23)
VI. "It Happened/Shattered Glass/Too Little, Too Fast/Slart's Farts" (Reprise) (1:19)

Or something like that.

I'd buy that.  Especially with the bonus track about almost being shot by the cops.

"wait....it's MY truck!"  (4:14)

Good ones.  You know I almost say at this point that the flood did us a favor.  The house will be less cluttered.  Everything that's been done to it is an improvement that we couldn't have afforded to make without a refinance, but now we'll need one to pay for the overage.  Should have internet service restored to the house today so I can get back to annoying people.  Hey thanks for the prog album suggestions.  I may have to take you up on it but I can't guarantee to meet you track times.  I'm thinking of perhaps a mixture of styles.  Probably predominantly avant.

Saturday morning and the sun rises on the side where the back creek is but it comes into the library room bathroom kitchen and dining and utility.
