It works 60% of the time, all the time?

Why must you insist on selling yourself short all the time?

All you guys in here do that, right. Unhappy

Are you asking? LOL
Because I don't know...

I am a pretty lazy b*****d
I am very timid, in that I can almost never go up to girls.
And lets face it, of course you grow over time but at first every relationship is based somewhat on looks, how else cant it start? Guess I can't really imagine myself accurately but I don't see myself as any more than average.

Well, having met my current love interest online, I can't say that my relationship was based on looks at first. But that's probably the exception rather than the norm.

Plus, I'll admit that I will generally assume that pretty boys with big muscles and perfectly even features are big dumb pretentious jerks, so yeah, people judge.

I would say Caio that you are still giving up your soul by going into law, but you have no soul?
So it may be OK

James, cooking is easy.  How can you not cook?  It takes a total failure to not be able to make food taste good

LOL Clap

'tis true.  I am better than everyone.  Sorry to sound pretentious.  It's just annoying getting ignored all the time though.  Even at my voluntary work.  I could do my Line Managers job with training.  She's a Doctor (not in that sense, I mean she has a Ph.D.).  Yet I have to do some of the more mundane work (which I have no problem in doing) there and get no thanks for it whatsoever.  Why can't she do some of it sometimes instead of being in meetings all the time and when she's not, seemingly socialising?

I'm better than her for starters.

Bump.

And I'm not timid or shy.  I'm the opposite.  I can be incredibly chatty if need be.  I just cannot make the first move when it comes to talking to women.  Except that time last year... but I'd already made the leg-work online first.

I hate those random moments of confidence because then it kills my attempt at confidence knowing it's just a random occurrence that I have almost absolutely no control over.

Though having said that I know that most of my awkwardness is just in my head and I should get past that.

Of course they do June.
In your case yeah, that's a bit of a rarity.

It's just realistic. Except in a case like yours, how else will a relationship start? There needs to be some kind of physical attraction, and of course hopefully there's legit interest past that. Of course it varies what you are in to.
We all judge somewhat.

lulz

You're attracted to pretty boys with muscles?  Why?  They're the ugliest people on this planet.

They don't have perfectly even features either.

Why do women go for these guys? Confused

heh yeah
For no reason I went to a girl in my theater class at PSH and introduced myself. Like 2 years ago.
No idea why (or really how) and never have been able to do it again.
Rare moment of self confidence??? We all must have at least one!

Yeah, well hopefully I won't need to again for a while, assuming she doesn't change her mind about hanging out between now and next week.  Now I just need to figure out what people do for fun and I'm set. LOL

Haha yeah same here, and really most of us.
It kills me that I know that but can't seem to jump that hurdle.

I can cook if I put the effort in.

However, when I'm hungry, I want to eat.  I don't want to have to wait too long.  Cooking and preparing generally takes too long.

I don't plan ahead with that sort of thing.  I've got more important things to be doing... like erm... not sure but I have.

Oh yeah! Whenever this does happen, I forget normal people don't enjoy doing stuff like us!

I have learned that people don't pick up on stuff as much as you think they do. But there are a few people, no matter what the situation is, that I just cannot bring myself to talk to beyond the awkward conversation that I try to start in attempt to break my timidness.

Very. Awkward.

One of my friends said the funniest thing the other day. "When I first met you, I couldn't get you to talk. Now I can't get you to shut up."

The issue for me quite often is that I don't find a girl attractive and when I talk to her as a friend, I don't want her to think I do find her attractive and mess up our friendship.

sh*t here ain't so hardcore as in Merrica, BUT, if I indeed choose either commercial or international law I may have to do it. And, ironically, those are my goals right now.

Even making a sandwich is a chore.

I put the kettle on about half-hour ago and still haven't made a mug of tea... oops.

Oh that is so deff the case!
And people usually seem to like me.
It's why I know, deep down, I am not socially awkward and can do it...just got some mental block

Very boring.  It seems to be just clips of him from some match... but with the occasional odd interlude that makes no sense whatsoever.

Plus Mogwai aren't that frequent.
