Anyway Shred, stay classy while I'm gone.

So my college success skills professor is still sick so we had a substitute and why couldn't I have been in her class instead? We start off doing a priority management thing and after that she says "Ok we have to move on, we have a lot of things to do today". 10 minutes later she says "I like to watch a lot of Youtube videos in my class..." and we watched this:
And then she let us out early. She said that she may have to substitute for the next class, which is in two weeks. I feel bad wishing for that, though, because that would mean my real professor is really f**king sick.

I mean, she already has to be on the verge of death: she missed our first class because she was in the ER, and then we saw her for the second class. But she missed the class a week ago so she must have been sick for a long time. And my programming class was canceled because she's sick, which is good because I hadn't done the assignment that was due today yet! I can just take my 15 minute economics test at 11 and go home. Hooray.

But wait fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

I haven't complained about this before? To graduate everyone is required to take SDV 100 (SDV is Student Development, it used to be called STD olololol) or 110. 110 is for specific majors and is limited availability, so almost everyone takes 100, which is called College Success Skills. It is as useful and as well regarded by the students as it sounds, and I somehow managed to get the one professor who takes it seriously and I have to write a page for each chapter of the stupid textbook "applying it to my life" (I have been making things up and intend to tell her this on my course evaluation form) and give a 20 minute group presentation on the culture of Egypt for some f**king reason. And there's 10 people in my group, which makes it impossible to do any actual group work and I am sure I will end up doing almost all of the assignment anyway.

We also have a 2 credit physical education requirement.

That we actually need to do this in a college course is beyond sad.

This probably would have pissed me off more than the college skills course.

The only thing we had like that in college was a Critical Thinking class that was required for everyone.  It was a basic logic class really.  And my professor was a guy from the church where I grew up (his wife is the organist there), so it was a breeze.

Everyone also had to complete either a PE or Health class.  I chose the latter and learned about how da booz wil fuk wit ya livah and rearrange it to the solid mental grace yo.

My family is at the park and I get to work.  Ouch

My dad is working near the park they are going to, so he's going to pop by and surprise the kids.

Also, people who misuse the word "literally" literally make me want to kill someone.

Yeah, I also was enraged by my equally nonsense Intro to Communications class, but if you don't like it you can go to a real school.
