I like plenty of non-metal. A lot of the metal I listen to has lots of non-metal in it. I wouldn't like it if it was straight-up metal all the time.
Anyways, those are just me sampling some tracks off of iTunes but I have to say I was pretty hooked after just a few minutes of listening. I really need to get that album.
Zu are pretty nuts. They're cool but not something I feel inspired to put on a lot.

Zu make Merzbow sound like happy pony music. Carboniferous is so intense.

Carboniferous is amazing. I prefer Zu to MiRthkon. I like them too, mind you.
But the lyrics on Vehicle are hilarious. I need someone to write them down, so I can sing along in the car.
Especially that one when it starts "hi!". Banana is hilarious too.

But Jean Louis are even more intense, as are Guapo (on Black Oni, anyhow). Most metal in comparison is lame in ths respect. My mate really likes Ork, the last track. It's perfect for our D&D sessions.

I disagree, but whatever. Two different types of intense.

That's what I mean.
I can only tolerate kick drums and chugga-chugga riffs and power-chords for so long. I know not all metal is like that and I tend to prefer the metal that isn't like that. That's why I like Agalloch, The Pax Cecilia, Animals as Leaders and other similar stuff.

Ugh. I stayed up way too late last night and I'm regretting it now. I'm going to need a nap later.

I went to high school with a Kevin O'Brien. He was on the high school football team, and then went on to play for the Buffalo Bills as an offensive lineman for a year or two, although I don't think that he ever played all that much.

This is a different Kevin O'Brien who plays Cricket for Ireland. He basically just destroyed England by getting 100 runs in 50 balls.

My chemistry lab took up all my energy. Don't want to do anything.

Wow, Ireland were 400-1 to win at one point. If I'd put a £1 on, what would have been my return, £400?

Neverwinter Nights will console me soon. I've almost finished Shadows of Undrentide. I've had the game for years and I started a new game a few weeks back and I've finally almost finished, yey! Then I'll transfer my character across to Hordes of the Underdark.

Mmm, lovely. Countless hours spent playing that game. Soon it's time to start again with a new character.

Well I may go through it again, as there's a mod so you can use Mischka as a henchman. ![Big smile Big smile](smileys/smiley4.gif) I also plan to go through it as a different character as there was a lot loot I had to sell 'cause I couldn't use it.
