It depends on what you write, really. Just avoid facing Iván directly because, 1 - he is a nice guy and 2 - he will NEVER give up.

Do what I did.
Drink a lot of coffee. A few hours later drink a lot of soda. Add in 16 hours of being awake and presto! No longer bored but also no longer able to control thoughts into something coherent.

So far I've only insulted 2 Germans.
One which is unmentionable since it is so crass and insensitive on so many levels, and the other is when I was in the kitchen at my house at a going away party and the guest of honour's husband came in and said "It's burger time!" (He has a thick German accent).
So thinking it was my brother I said "Jah!" in the campest of German accents I could do. I look up and see it's an actual German so I turned and left without saying anything and avoided him for the rest of the evening.

Apparently it's not funny to a 17 year old German to goose step around the house while nazi saluting. When he asked me to stop I told him it's not my fault he finds it offensive that his country took the terrible whole Jews are evil joke too far.
