The shred is where we all come to take out our anger, loneliness and confusion upon the internet. It is the way of the SR.

oh it's the nature of the business. There's no such thing as a steady job, the best you can do is hope for a show that runs for 6-9 months. This one was a 3 week gig. One starting next week that's another 4 week gig that I might be going onto. Basically to stay employed you have to stay sharp and jump from show to show. Or else you're doomed.

Oh right. I thought you were in demand though? I guess it's a dog-eat-dog world.
I hate the world right now. I'm trying to remain positive but it's just not working.

I am in demand, which is why i have this next one 99% in the bag. But it's only a matter of time until some hot shot new rookie takes the spot that I have now

Facebook is toying with me. I'm online with the hopes that ONE person is online. They pop online and I click chat, Facebook tells me they've gone offline. This has been going on for an hour now. ARGH.
Well, when the clock strikes 2am I'll try that sleep thing again.

Weeping in the dark.
Also, I want to get myself a nice hardcore lady (which we have no short supply of here) but they're all either bitches or 14. Wut do.

Make sure you refresh every minute so you're sure it's not your computer freaking out and accidentally putting them offline or vice versa, it might be telling you they're online when they haven't been.

I wish I had known 14-year-old hardcore ladies when I was 14.

it IS(!) 2am, so they probably never were. Weird coincidence.
I'll just have to do it the oldschool way and talk to them on the phone or in person tomorrow. Lulz.

Hardcore ladies usually turn out to be vindictive bitches. I speak from experience.

I prefer my ladies to be a little more mellow. Post-Rock fans are good because they don't mind being told to do things over and over again.
