My Magma pendant got noticed once.  By a dude who knew of the band but had never heard any of their music.

True enough.  Girls like Opeth 'round here too.  I may just have to get a shirt one day.  I almost bought one at Download.

I do have a Riverside t-shirt but nobody has heard of Riverside. LOL

I need to find out when the cute girl in the corner-shop works.  I know she works Friday afternoon/evening but I don't know when else.

She seems nice but I don't know her situation, so I'll approach with caution.  I may involuntary remark "you know, you're welcome over mine for a tea or coffee any time" and then wait for the Police to turn up.

I wish I'd been into prog/metal and stuff when I was at University.  Not that it would have helped at all but at least I may have gone to decent nightclubs instead of the Chavtastic ones I did go to.

Those will be there but I expect that a good number will be hipsters, which I'm a ok with. I'd love a hipster girl.
I'm going to a few concerts, they seem to work for Joel and make sense for meeting girls with like tastes in music, we'll find out! And I won't screw up.
