That's a tough question! I can give you 5 albums I love by them, not too good on deciding a favourite.
All the World's a Stage / Grace Under Pressure / Power Windows / Exit... Stage Left / Vapor Trails

All of the official live albums. I have three bootlegs from the old days as well, but I didn't listen to those this time around, although I might when I finish.

I don't have R30 on CD or the Grace Under Pressure cd that came with Rush Replay x3.
Does Working Men count as a live album? Looks like such a waste of money...

GUP is my favorite Rush album.

I bought the R30 DVD/CD package, and I do have the Grace Under Pressure CD that came with Replay X3. I didn't listen to that one this time through though. Maybe I will tack it on at the end. Working Men is just a greatest hits of live albums, so it really isn't worth it. I picked it up for a few bucks at the Used CD shop, basically because I am a completionist, and it wasn't terribly expensive, like if I had bought it new.

Now that I think about it, Grace Under Pressure is my favourite studio album. It's the only one that I can be happy to put on and not feel like I need to skip a track some of the time. I love listening to the vinyl. ![Approve Approve](smileys/smiley14.gif)

So tempted to skip Rivendell. I do not like this track at all.

I am a Lord of the Rings fan, I just dislike this song. Maybe it's the lack of bass. It just seems too cheesy for me.

I really prefer Rush albums after (and including) Permanent Waves... I'm not much of a fan of their earlier work...

Would you agree that McCoy Tyner outplays Coltrane on A Love Supreme? |
Hell yeah.
Coltrane isn't that awesome in ALS, although you can't beat those compositions. My favorite Trane performance is on My Favorite Things.
