Personally I really loved Vegas when I went up there, I think every huge city is kind of a sh*t hole honestly,

Nah

Well depends on what you consider a sh*thole, guess it's personal.
Most cities (even major ones) I thought were fine.
There's going to be some bad places in any area.

And the cities that are sh*tty must be different from Vegas. Like I know just being there, breathing the air, I'd probably feel dirty.

For a second I forgot about spain and my mind went straight to Madrid NM which is overrun with Hippies Confused
I think the only reason I liked Vegas so much was because the only other two big cities I can remember are albuquerque and Denver.

Generally 500,000+ people is a large city.

LA and NYC are megacities, so they don't count.

I don't think so, but I live in quite a rural area.

Everywhere besides here is a big city.

New York is insane. I was looking at the population of cities in America, and there's almost a 6 million  drop in population from New York to LA.

Well the Melbourne population is approximately 3,995,537. So no, I haven't been to a large city.
