Well, I'm already resigned to the fact that, as per usual, I shan't be able to attend but on the strength of that line-up it's far less bothersome than previous years. I'd obviously give at least a couple of limbs to see Present and UZ and AV are by all accounts an excellent live act, but the rest of it is pretty meh, IMO.

Even Vander? Shocked  I'm upset that Magma won't be with him, but I'd still love to see his performance.

^ My feelings are exactly the same as David's, but I'll agree that Friday is the best day of the festival by far.

I sure as hell wouldn't turn down an opportunity to see solo Vander, but it's not the same priority as Magma for me.

As far as I know, yes. But they've always had a very broad interpretation. Personally, I agree with Picard and I haven't found much to enjoy in what I've heard from them, although assaf likes them. But, no offense to assaf, he likes everything so that doesn't mean much. :P

We just added them to avant-metal over on MMA, yeah, that's pretty much what they are.  Not particularly interesting, IMO

NOTE TO AVESTIN:
asaf, I thought you mgt be able to answer this question: someone wants to add ""Simon Steensland's Kamikaze United - Live Gang-Gang" to Steensland's discog. As I recall, the disk is fusion, so whereas it is SS, it's not AP. Can we still add it do you know? Or should we ask an admin?
Thanks for any help!
C

Hi Claire

What you can do, is create a separate entry for "Simon Steensland's Kamikaze United" (especially if it's a different style than Steensland's solo) and add the album there. Much like the case for Robin Taylor and His Free Universe etc.
So you can suggest it to the JRF team as a band for addition.

You could add it to Simon's discography if it's close enough a music to his rest of his output, I just don't know the music of that project and can't judge. (and then just add the album and add the title of the band in parenthesis).
So both options are valid, depends on how you zartians think the music of that project is close to his solo material. We also have precedence for cases like this in the archives.

Sad news on that side of things, but on the other side, I never knew they already released 14 albums...I always thought 5 or 6. Shocked

Im little away of the working of this forum (im new here), but  i think i can make a contribution with a recent dicovery of mine: Alamaail Vasarat, and incredible RIO band (i think i can classify like  this) with a (really) unique sound, here their official site: http://www.vasarat.com/
i reccomend the musics Vasaarasia and Assuntovelka.
=)
