Good points about: spiders, they eat insects. flies, mosquitoes absolutely nothing roaches , we have freaking roaches that fly called Palmetto Bugs, worst of both worlds I tell you, Madasgascar hissing cockroaches are somewhat cool but I wouldn't want them around fleas, if you have pet cats and or dogs, they are most certainly Satan's spawn chiggers, lice, bedbugs useless bloodsucking varmints termites, chew up your wood framed houses ants, we have these imported nuisances called fire ants, accidentally step on one of their mounds and you are likely to be in a world of hurt, then there's those little buggers who if they find anything start these trails weevils, haven't been bugged by them in particular gnats, small flies can be just as annoying as the bigger ones, in Georgia we have this gnat line where if you go south they are everywhere, it seems to moving northwards locusts? can we say plague wasps, been snuck attacked by those suckers on three occasions at my home, I terminate them with extreme prejudice Edited by Slartibartfast - February 18 2011 at 12:05 |

Yeah Spiders are heroes! Weevils (Wobble but they don't fall down) are wonderful.
Mozies f**king Mozies are the most awful creatures ever invented (Proof there is no God)> THey bite! THey leave a nasty itch when they do. They fly around at niight and make sure you know they are there and keep you awake. Horrid waste of space!

Scabies. Not fun to have around. Saw a guy on a survival course with scabies all over his body. Don't know if scabies are classified as insects thought. Nasty though.

honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies and spiders are very useful for life in general
they first three for polinating purposes, the latter for getting rid of a lot of other insects

Dragonflies are awesome.
What's with all this hating on our eight legged friends? Garden spiders, tarantulas, and jumping spiders are pretty cool. Webs are amazing That guy reminds me of Bart Simpson. Also spider relative daddy long legs are interesting: Which reminds me of cool aquatic insects: Water boatmen Water striders: Edited by Slartibartfast - February 18 2011 at 19:10 |

Booo! I'm with the spider people-- it's speculated the air would fill with flying insects in a matter of weeks if it weren't for spiders and their webs |

Afro/american Killer bees are the most frightning creature on earth, happily they are on a continental distance away, and an Ocean wide border, so stay where you are honey-making murderours. these are cool looking though
this one is yber cool and dangerous (for other insects),
