I have enough reserves to pass the 3000th review mark if we let Chris S go nuts and include the full batch of unprog artistes that he wants to include in ProgArchives in the XOver category

I've seen plenty of reviews from Mellotron Storm lately, although some days I'll see 6-7 reviews posted in a row by ZowieZiggy... Sean Trane has the lead....
Anyone down for bets? Oh, and I'll be the first to 4000.

Ziggy will play guitar at 3000 first
but I would have thought for some time Trane would be the 3000 Man.

I'm working my way there
Only 41 to go....
But Both ZZ and MS are within 100 from me.... I can feel their breath down my back
(Daniel's beer & french fries breath & John's pancakes & maple syrup breath that is...)

Well, Î definitely smell that maple syrup coming from behind me >>> I must be standing downwind from John
It's a matter of weeks before John catches up.... I wonder how long I'll manage to jump and stay on that speeding bandwagon
C'm on, Daniel... make this interesting and unleash some 70 reviews in 24h.... we know you can do it!!!

Me too have been a happy owner of a cat. Hence, I know the difference between a cat chasing a mouse & a cat playing with a mouse. My guess is that our Belgian moggy is doing the latter. |

I could indeed do this by making half-baked reviews, or even making reviews of albums I only heartd twice or so (but I (almost) never do that), then post them just as late as I can, but what would be the point??? .... ... to screw with my friends John or Daniel??? and look like an arsehole in doing so??? Naaaaaahh!!!....
and right now, I'm out of albums that I can readily review....I've got something like 50 albums ahead of me (like Frogg Cafe or French TV), but i simply haven't integrated them enough to actually start rambling on about them. I just reviewed Island's Pyrrho posthumous release after owning it over two years.
Soooo unless I happen to find something I could review without having to listen to it a few dozen of times (The Beatles or Robert Plant come to mind for ex), I'm going about as fast as I can.

You don't have to defend yourself against me or anyone else, Sean. We all chase mouse in our own tempo. A cat sitting on a garden fence post surveying it's kingdom is not bad cat, Sean. In fact; it is a smart cat. It is also a rather good life.

Sean Trane: 2980
Mellotron Storm: 2955
MS is, virtually spoken, on the lead: he wrote 45 reviews during the last 23 days. ST wrote 20 reviews in 57 days. Continuing at the same rate, MS will reach 3000 on May 8, ST on June 11.

Hugues, you have 20 reviews left. Get on with it!
If you need albums, you could always get 20 of Senmuth's 98243759823 albums, although they are completely not your style. Or you could get Eclectic Prog's Senmuth, Sebastien Gramond!

Awww thanks Hughes but you'll always be numer one around here. I really do think my time at the top will be short because by the summer(or before) i'll be done.Almost 5 years of pretty consistant reviews will be over then you'll eventually pass me again. |
