Because they're not even slightly funny and are one of the absolute worst things about youtube. I assumed everybody sane hated them. lol, it seems I may have offended Picard. |

There are poop videos on Youtube?!
Oh, they're some kind of "humor" videos? Edited by Vompatti - February 13 2011 at 03:09 |

I was driving around with some family members and suddenly became aware that the car behind ours was yours (I guess someone whom I identified as your mother was there too). We both came to a stop at some kind of a fair or something and I came up to you saying some greeting in English, but to my big surprise you answered with near perfect Finnish Can't remember much else, but we talked some more and it was definitely you. Yeah, I believe British English is valued higher in the teacher circles. Most of my English teachers have always been these elderly ladies who speak really heavy British English, but most of today's youth pick up an American accent from TV. I know I do at least. And in case you might be thinking of teaching in a public school or something, I can pretty definitely say it's not gonna happen, the requirements are so high, but private lessons might not be out of the question

Heh, well I'll take that as a sign! Also kinda weirdly awesome I was in your dream Isn't TV always the best way? This guy I knew, who had no accent in the slightest, said he used to have a laughably thick Indian accent and American TV shows was the sole reason he managed to drop it! Crazy. Also man dreams are weird |

The night before I had a chat with Devin Townsend, that was very cool too
TV really is a good teacher. Jari Kurri spoke very little English when he went to Edmonton, but he learned the language watching Happy Days

Happy Days?
Oh and the British thing is no surprise, so much more soothing and refined! Not like us lazy Merkans. Except for maybe the Boston accent. New York is probably unattractive and Southern....well I won't even go there Edited by JJLehto - February 13 2011 at 03:27 |

Yep, that tale was told in both Gretzky's and Kurri's biographies, I've read both
I remember watching Conan O'Brien's late night show in my senior high days a lot, and thinking that he's got my favourite English accent, and he's from Boston. Out with the dogs then. I hurt my ass last night playing hockey

Indeed he is. Boston is pretty cool, it's my favorite American one without doubt, (I know even though I live in the New York area)
Well at least you were doing something! On that note, 4:34 am. Night |

i just nicely syncopated drums, and alternation between snare and bass drum, and also the creativitiy of a single bass drum pedal, instead of two, makes things more swaying, and hard hitting punctoations, and accents on the bass chords,
one good example is the syncopation on this song, trye closly listen to the accents of snare & bass drums ant the alternation between them, and the snare rolls, in between coms shots of single bass drum kicks, very intence, alot of elegant sychpparions allaround this song
