Pat, do you ever berate your students for doing poorly because they're not doing the homework? Our Calc professor was upset that only 5 people passed the last test and that turned into a 15 minute ordeal. He is from India or something so he has no sympathy for us lazy Americans. (Before you ask, no, I didn't pass, but that is because some other stuff was going on and I didn't do the homework for the last section we covered, and the questions from that ended up being weighted 50% of the test because they're longer, but he drops the lowest test so I'm not concerned)

Nope. I tell them on the first day of class that I don't care if they come to class. I don't care if they do homework. I don't care if they pass the test. I don't care if they learn anything. I tell them that I'm here to help those who want to put in the time and effort to learn the subject. They know I could care less whether they have that desire or not.

Do you know that song that they borrow from in March of the Fire Ants? I'm pretty sure it's Metallica, but I really can't place it right now.

What do you mean they borrow from it?  They use like the same riffing structure or something?

The only samples I know of are the T-Rex roar at the beginning of Crusher Destroyer and the white noise at the end of Elephant Man.

It begins at 2:27 in the song. It's not a sample, but it sounds really really familiar to the point that I assumed it was a direct homage to the song.

Actually I'm thinking it might be Sculptured Shocked

Damn it.

I've realised after I don't know how long that No-Script has been set to "Allow Scripts Globally".

I have also now sorted out that Facebook issue and now I can see all the updates my friends have been making and wishing they'd stay invisible. LOL

Tylenol only causes liver damage if you're an idiot with it.

Blood Mountain has some of their absolute best material but unfortunately a lot of weak stuff towards the end.

Also, GUESS WHO'S GUEST SINGING ON DEVY'S NEXT ALBUM

Daniel Gildenlow?

You're joking, right?

What else would the link be for?

JOE DUPLANTIER

And that's in addition to Mikael Akerfeldt and Tommy Rogers already confirmed for lineup.  Boners.

Also, to anyone who hasn't checked out Mastodon's album pre-Crack the Skye, do it.  Crack the Skye is an awesome album but I'm a bigger fan of their earlier material.

Which would be best to listen to first?

Remission

Either that or Leviathan, but Remission is what made me a fan.

Best of luck.  Motor vehicles are so goddamned complicated, I don't know how anyone can know every single working part about them.
not really, well, not as bad as the human body. Now that's complicated.

My bike is carbed,so the wiring is quite simple. I have a bad connection or exposed wire somewhere. I just ran out of daylight.
