Some songs shouldn't be covered,like this this exellent Broadway.....

Nothing is sacrosanct especially rock music - in deed it is measure of how good it is if other bands make good interpretations.

Nothing is sacrosanct especially rock music - in deed it is measure of how good it is if other bands make good interpretations.
In case of The Lamb, how good it is is not a good definition. There is no room for a cover on that song, genesis do it all in that song. It is perfect the way it is. Anything else sounds off.

Mike Patton is Mr.Bungle vocalist, he sings in many other avant-bands as well

This Cpt.Beefheart's album is still good - some later ones are too much simply straight forward blues-rock

I know a lot of Cd's say it now. But it was Greg Lake and not Greg Lake and Gary Moore. Should play Nuclear Attack though.....
