I wouldn't mind if Cuneiform did a bit of a remake of their web pages. Great label, but the webpages are a bit" late 90's" in my opinion. It might be well invested money for the label. Any volunteers on PA? :)

Thats what I assume. I would just appreciate some sort of email letting me know (aside from keeping up with their inventory) they don't have something. I suppose they are too busy for that sort of thing though. At least on aquarius they warn you ahead of time they don't keep up with what they actually have in stock on their homepage.

Wayside just redid their website not too long ago...gotta say I preferred the way it looked.

Indeed, though actually I rarely use spellcheck. My excuse for that schoolboy error is tiredness, plain and simple.

Creative Writing? I'm sure it's something related to that, or I'm hallucinating again. 

I used to never mix up it's/its and their/they're/there in my writing and I couldn't understand how anybody could. But now, after years of reading forum posts my hands will type the wrong one automatically and I have to go back and fix it. DAMN YOU INTERNET!

No, you're right. It was a pretty experimental programme though - more related to performance art and other such w**kery... not much churning out of sonnets and short stories went on and we certainly didn't waste much time worrying about spelling and grammar!

At this point I could weigh in with the observation that I have taught asylum seekers illiterate in their first languages how to use the humble apostrophe correctly, although it's probably going to become obsolete in the next few decades - still, language constantly evolves, innit?
 
As for Led Bib - I'm basically in favour of them, being a nice bunch of Walthamstow boys who are keeping the jazz flame burning - but I think Polar Bear beat them on all fronts (also based in and around east London, led by a drummer who composes almost everything and fronted by twin tenor saxes, as opposed to the Bib's duelling altos). Haven't hear the latest offering but I'll probably get it in the next couple of weeks.

Get that indeed! Funny, I'm editing some hypertext presently, and, for some reason, I find it much easier to miss things on the screen as opposed to the page; I often end up just printing out a copy, because my reading/attention seems much more thorough on paper. Less distraction I suppose...?

So, Marcello of AltrOck tells me there are 4 new titles soon to be released! Not sure what yet, but a new Garamond shall be amongst them I believe...
