He clearly doesn't think his latest album is as good as his debut.
 If this is that artist rating his own albums then I don't see too much of a problem, there is nothing in the rules to say he can't and I don't think we should judge him harshly for liking his own music. If he starts rating rival albums with 1 or 2 star ratings or there are a spate of back-lash low ratings for these albums then I think we should act.

If it was anyone but Deep Purple it would be obvious ratings manipulation, in this case, I think this person's knowledge of good music should boost him to SC.

I also know that Ian Gillan, Roger Glover and John Lord would give some of the mid 1970s album 1 star (with added swear words). Ian Paice is not happy about the first albums so that's at least some 2 stars reviews. David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes would probably agree with mine 1 star assessment for the House Of Blue Light. Tommy Bolin is dead. Steve Morse does not like the first albums too. Conclusion: Noone of the Deep Purple members posted these reviews. I think that goes down as fact.
