Josh, is Neon Genesis Evangelion worth buying? Never watched it () but I've heard its amazing + it's on sale at a local store which I have a giftcard for, so I might buy it later today.

End is essential.  The main reason to watch the series is so you can watch EoE.  That movie changed my life.

Even if you do start to watch Eraserhead, I am confident that, like all reasonable people, you will find the urge to turn it off irresistible after 10 minutes or so.

Is Neon Genesis the one with the protagonist jerking off on the girl in a coma or am I thinking of something else?

Eraserhead was awesome. It messed with my mind but it was still awesome. I have no emotions anymore but it was still awesome. I can't make human contact anymore but it was still awesome......
