The problem is that post-rock and I have a bit of a complicated relationship. I think the only post-rock album I really enjoy is Agaetis Byrjun.

Godspeed was pretty much no-no as far as I remember, I liked Mogwai more, haven't heard Mono. Can't say I've spent that much time exploring the genre though.
