Indeed, Primus, Alice in Chains, and RATM sharing the same stage is pretty f*cking amazing.  I would’ve loved to have seen Dinosaur Jr. too.

Also yeah, shame Tool weren’t too big back then.

And speaking of good grunge:

Yeah, Tool were virtually brand spanking new (Undertow was released that year), thus not headlining.  I do remember them though.  But it was Primus, AiC, and Rage that stick out in my mind.

How cool it must have been to see them. Back in the day Maynard was a freak on stage! Primus is damn fine band to. Rage is fun live from what I've seen.

Those were great fun, eventually I think they got over-commercialized.  It still wasn't as organic as Woodstock, obviously, but they were really great "festivals" where people that appreciated halfway decent music got together.

The un-fun part was when I was crowd surfing at the '92 one and some f**ker decided to just drop me.  Almost broke my arm.  Ouch

I did see that - Hallucino-genetics tour back in 2004.  One set of various songs, then the second set was all of Frizzle Fry.
