Wrong. CoTE is their worst album anyway. |
I prefer Cloudkicker's music without vocals, it gives him more room to work with the layered guitars.
And hi Steve, long time no see.

I don't like CotE.
And I'm pretty sure Dowsing is their best album.

Joel, you make me I agree on Stained Glass though, that's also amazing in its own way. The first three minutes of it are to me some of the best three minutes of music ever recorded (along Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, etc.)

Given what I've seen of your tastes I would've thought you'd like Choirs a lot. My guess is that you haven't listened to it enough to let it grow on you. I detested it at first and gave it like eight tries over the course of a few months, now it's easily in my top 10.

Yeah, the first few minutes could be my favourite piece of music ever. For me, Choirs = Coyote > BLD > DAWCT > Stained Glass > Don't Touch Dead Animals

I used to think Choirs is KD's best album one of my top three albums of the decade, but I heard it a week ago and I was underwhelmed. Now I am scared to listen it again, what if I really don't like it that much anymore? I hate change.

I still need to give Stained Glass a proper listen on that soundcloud page, but I'm awaiting for it to be available here. Or I should get paypal.
Also, I'm top listener of KD, motW, Toby Driver and Tartar Lamb on last.fm.

I think I've listened to that album as much as I have listened to Part the Second, which is probably 45 or 50 times.
