I don't know ... I think I'm going home and put on Skin, and then Over, and then Godbluff, and then Still Life ... and then ... cry a little ... I really thought that Trisector was sad, and felt incomplete and was either not well thought out, or was simply just put together in a hurry. It is very repetitive in the instrumentation, and for some reason ... I started thinking that Peter was repeating himself.

 

I guess it just didn't click with me. And it was the first time in 35 years that I have been listening to Peter and VdGG, that things didn't click ... I have always had a very soft spot for the very personal work, and the way that the instrumentation was designed around it ... but I think that too much of Trisector was designed so it could be performed on the stage instead of teh bombastic and weird and what nots found in so much of th eother material that makes it very difficult to do on stage, unless Peter simply does it with an accoustic guitar ... and no one else.

 

I don't know ... even Roy Harper is getting repetitive these days, and not doing another rocker with Jimmy ... so I guess that we're getting too old! You know, there was a time when looking at the pictures in Playboy was ... exciting ... specially when it was dearest Marilyn .... and they simply aren't anymore!

 

Ok ... enough of that alien stuff ... where's the music?
