And again I will pipe in once again, that Neo Prog is one of my favorite prog genres, so to each their own.

Neo Prog sounds much more dated than classic prog.  Plus it's mostly awful.

The awfulness is debatable, but I agree that it sounds VERY dated, MUCH more than classic prog.

Yup, although I do like an album of Velislav Ivanov's and he's in neo prog.

I actually like many neo artists, but the genre as a whole sounds incredibly dated.

Much early 70's prog sounds quite dated too.  The first few Pink Floyd albums, a number of Jethro Tull albums, even King Crimson.  In these cases, it is because they are dated.

Little late, but yes, it was very very good. I'll have to check them out.

Is their debut the best album? Or what is their best in your opinion?

Yes, I know. Most music from the 60's and from the year of 1970 sound very very dated.

I was referring to other bands. From Doves I only know their debut for the moment, and a 2 CD best of compilation from 2010 which suggests that the rest of their discography should be checked out.

Hey Caio, I just read the the EU and Brazil are bilaterally scrapping the short term visas. If you still want to come and visit around, it appears it's going to be easier. I might also come down to visit you with the occasion of the 2014 WC.

Wow, really? That's awesome! Big smile

@ 2014 we should definitely roll through Rio's decaying streets and do something.

Also Caio, you might be interested in this BBC documentary about Romanian gypsys and peasants: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p005xksl#p006yf7k

I haven't finished it but it's very good so far.
