You probably get more lake effect snow than we do. We've really only had one "big" snowfall of 4 to 6 inches, and everything else so far has just been an inch here and an inch there.

We have got at least that much on several occasions, once we got about a foot or so.

I have mixed feelings.
On one hand classes were cancelled, so I get paid for sitting at home today.
On the other hand, the class I attend today was cancelled so I'm paying for one less class that I should get.
But I got to shovel.
So I'd say it's net positive.

Well, I've just called out from work. I'm not too excited about it really, but honestly....I think if I tried to get there I'd die. Probably highways are cleared but nothing in town is, with snow still falling at this moment and expected to continue.

Well, I was annoyed because I needed to be in the office to prep for a Friday meeting. Then, that meeting got canceled, so I'm not as miffed. But staying home all day with my kids is....challenging.
