It's a satire of stupid political cartoons, so yes. The Onion generally is very harsh. However, I have to say that after a decade this is their least funny article ever. :(

I could understand that, but that's not something I'd  leave in the kitchen. LOL

And lolol at the comic.

Oh, okay, I got it now. But the very first time I saw one of these comics, I first thought they were "serious".

Noooooooope! Terrible dialogue, 9th grade philosophy, wooden acting, endless boring action sequences, amoral characters are somehow portrayed as being good and saviors (I think all the random people they murdered would have preferred to just live in The Matrix), and a nonsensical plot based on using humanity as a perpetual motion machine.

Oh dear

I don't hate the Matrix, it's fun and the special effects were really cool when it came out.  I just don't get why people seem to put it on a pedestal far, far above the sequels, as if one's comparing Ben-Hur to C-rate porn or something.  It's a better movie, but not by orders of magnitude.

re: the shirt, well, what else could you expect in this day and age.  i bet some guys here would like to loose their virginity to her though.  although i'm sure she's really lose.  Wink

The first Matrix is the one I've seen the least of, I haven't sat and watched any of them in their entirety though.

The Animatrix was just kinda weird.

In all honesty I didn't think the Matrix Reloaded was too terrible; it was at least fun to watch and probably had better action than the first.  The third one was beyond bad though.

Also, Ghost in the Shell (the anime the Matrix was inspired by) is also very good but not quite as good as it's hyped to be.  I wish they hadn't made the plot as intentionally convoluted as they wanted.

That Gabriel lookalike thread made me think: does anyone else think that Robert Downey Jr. looks a helluva lot like Mike Patton?
