I've just returned from a major CD shopping spree at my local record store which is closing down in the next month. They have a 30% off all used CDs sale going on right now, so I took full advantage.

Hey everyone, what's up?
Hiya June! not much up here besides a slow Saturday. You?
Here too, had karate this morning, and I'm going to head out to the movies later. Trying out some music Kris (wait, you know Kris, right?) recommended.

Right now I am listening to the debut album of a band called Folly's Pool. The album is from 1976. It is kind of a Steely Dan meets the Eagles meet the flute type of album. It is pretty good.

Oh scott, someone put up some Umphry's McGee posters at my school for their show, but they're playing an hour away in Baltimore, so I'm not sure why. Maybe you need to be aggressive with your promotion when you're only as well known as they are.

They might be going for an hour radius from the club, or maybe their is an UM fan there at your school that is trying to help them out.
