He doesn't need to have a good game for their offense to go nuts. The players and the system make his numbers amazing.

If you watch the games he's not doing much. He's very smart. He knows where to go with the ball. He knows where the defenders are. I give him loads of credit for that. However, the throws he's required to make are simple. They're mostly little dinks and dunks. He's accurate, but most good qbs are on short/intermediate throws. IMO he's not an mvp for this reason.

^ That was always my opinion of Joe Montana.  He'd throw the ball 5 yards to Jerry Rice or Roger Craig and they would run it 70 yards for a touchdown, and Montana would get credited for throwing a 75 yard touchdown pass.

But he did what it took for his team to win, win, win, while the Lions drafted quarterback after quarterback who could knock the wings off of a fly 60 yards downfield, but heaven forbid, not be able to throw a screen pass to the running back coming out of the backfield.

I expect GB to beat Atlanta....Pack played them hard in the regular season although they lost but I suspect the Packers will not loose twice to the Falcons. I don't expect the Falcons to fold like the Chiefs did but a loss like the Saints seems realistic to me.
IF (big if) Sea beats daBears.......then I almost have to bet on the Seahawks winning the NFC, I think they beat the Pack here in Seattle with the 12th man.

Yet again, I am honestly torn between the teams.
GB and Atlanta is tough one, though I think the Packers will win.

Atlanta has very little buzz about it, always dangerous. Especially when you have their passing offense, run game, and little discussed defense (which is pretty good). And at home where Matty Ice and the Falcons have been great.

Ravens and Steelers is always unpredictable (though I'm hoping for the Ravens)

I know Seattle beat em before, but this time is different and the Bears also didn't take the last game off...
Bears over Seattle. They had no defense, an no real run game outside that one big TD.

Then the big one....Jets/Pats. I want, and am desperately hoping, for a Jets win. It IS possible. The Pats defense is not too great, but they have the luck to always be up 20 or 30 points and can risk more. Also teams will be reduced to only passing. IF the Jets can keep em off the field, score points and play perfect defense they got this.
But much easier said then done.

And Cromartie is going to really be targeted now. If he allows 2 or 3 TD's to be scored on him he should never never live it down. I'm also getting sick of Rex Ryan. Even if he's trying to mess with their heads/keep focus on him and not the team it's annoying as hell.

Guess I have to make decisions now.

Ravens, Pats, Bears, Falcons.

Falcons/Ravens games really are a toss up. I've kinda been secretly pulling for atlanta, in a way, so I'll stick with them. And I really won't be surprised if the seahawks win, but I doubt they will.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

It's bittersweet because the Steelers losing mean the Ravens have to win.
