It is useful if they have been in several bands, for example, Fred Frith, but when it is just one isolated band the names never seem to stick with me. |

I know the names of a lot of the older bands anyways, but a lot of times it is just their best known lineups. Although I do know all of the Yes albums lineups. |

A lot of the time I see their names and it sticks after just a glance or so.
