Obscure Prog Facts

 Ian Anderson played flute on Men Without Hats "Pop Goes The World" Album and On Blackmore's Night's First Album.
Maybe not so obscure. But give me a break  it's my first post. 

Chris Karrer of Amon Düül 2 is colorblind. nevertheless he designed the cover for his album "The Mask" himself. it was actually not really a cover but a sculpture of his face, painrted by himself. only 500 of the album with that "cover" were released; the owners received a certificate with "their" number

Production of Men Without Hats "Pop Goes The World" was handled by Zeus B. Held, who was a member of German prog band Birth Control

Here's something real obscure. The rap group Cyne has sampled Pekka Pohjola and Renaissance.

Kanye West has sampled 21st Century Schizoid Man but that's not too obscure.

Not that obscure.... Ringo Starr maked a cameo as frank zappa in the movie "200 motels" 

            Although it was not accompanied by a concert tour or hit single, Triumvirat's 1976 album "Old Loves Die Hard" did chart in America, reaching #85.
                      In the same year, the band were at one point Number One in Portugal, and in the top four most popular rock groups in Brazil

I read that Bill MacCormick from Manzanera's 801 is now a civil servant. Also, rumor has it that Richard Sinclair installed custom bathrooms before a comeback tour in the early 2000s.
