Last week, John decided to step down from the Admin team - the combined workload of being an admin and an active member of the Jazz Rock/Fusion team became too big.
John did a great job as an admin and moderator over the past two years, and will continue to do so in the JR/F team. As such, he will keep his status of Special Collaborator.
The admin team would like to thank John for the work he did as part of our team.

I noticed he's a SC now a few days before. Thanks for everything you did as an Admin, John! Who should I write now for ProgReviewer promotions?

Oh no! There goes my spam-eradicating partner.
As they both said, thanks for all your help as an Admin. |

Thanks John for your hard work and dedication, especially on the spam and bogus reviews fronts.

What a minute, first Jody and now John! Is there a conspiracy against American admins?

John, you did a great job, thanks for all your effort as admin - and we're glad you're sticking around in an SC/genre team member capacity.

Without you John, I never would've listened to Get Up With It, I owe you one. Have fun not being an admin.

That's correct. He removed his admin stripes himself after he resigned, but forgot to write a thank you note - which I corrected just now. |

Hey, as long as he sticks around. Sometimes you are up to being active
and sometimes you just have to step back. The money isn't really easy
around here. Last time I checked there isn't any. Most of us
participate for the fun of the music.

... anyway, thanks to both of them for the hard work
but you raise an important point, I think it's important to have an admin in each of the three major time frame (Europe, America and Far East) to ensure some 'round the clock presence on the site... This is why I had pressed for Trotsky to become Admin a few years back, unfortunately no-one stepped up from the far est time frame to replace him once he resigned.

Thanks for all the good work and good times Easy! Edit: Or maybe I'll just call you John since you are a mere mortal again? Edited by JJLehto - December 29 2010 at 02:17 |
