I've been at my parent's for 3 of those 11.  I listened to some Xing Sa in the car.

But no, I haven't.  I've been playing Neverwinter Nights.

Scott, get Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart at the very least.  Anyone at any age can enjoy the hell out of those games.

I like Tiger Woods' golf on the Wii, but I don't have a Wii.  My parents do.

It came with Wii Sports and Wii Resorts.  My sister bought a Wii for her family this year too, so it might be neat to be able to play games with her kids.  I've not really played any video games since back in the original days of Pacman, Frogger, and Pitfall.  I had an Intellivision as a kid, but I usually only played baseball, football, basketball, or hockey.

Metallica on local radio.  Hahahaha.  It turns out the Swindon Town goalkeeper is a fan of them.  He also likes Neil Young (a much better choice).

Jay Leno was saying that the new updates made it really realistic. Apparently, you get sext messages from numerous women, and after the tournament is concluded you go to fancy hotels and have sex with these women. LOL

Okay.

Basically, I just wanted to ask you this:

If you believe that (your Christian) God exists, do you therefore believe that the Roman/Greek/Norse (and others) Gods could/did/do exist as well?  If not, then why not?

One more thing: what is your own personal image of God?

I can already see how it is going to end.

No, I do not believe that the Roman/Greek/Norse/etc pantheons exist because none of them (to my knowledge) has ever produced a collection of historical and literary documents spanning hundreds of years that is full of fulfilled prophecies and that contains a rich, robust typological metanarrative.

If you are asking me what I think God looks like, I can only admit that I'm stuck with the "old man" image society has given me.  It's lazy and probably wrong, but it's what I have I guess.

I was rather thinking about a double axe fight.

But it still has something to do with this "shredding" thing.

Sorry to disappoint you, Picard.  I was only asking questions for my own curiosity.  I didn't want to this to get into a debate.

Back to Rob,

Interesting.  I wasn't sure what you'd say.  I was more intrigued whether you don't think they exist because the idea of pantheistic Gods/Goddesses is a silly notion.  I was actually hoping you'd say yes, actually.  They're called "myths", so I was hoping you'd fall into my Heffalump trap so I could then call your Monotheist God a Myth as well. LOL  Damn it!

But Rob, just because they don't have all those prophecies and metanarrative, it doesn't make the idea of Pantheism any less valid (to me anyway, if I did believe in a monotheistic God).  It was from an earlier age too.  Many Nordic people do actually believe in Woden, by the way.

Ah yes, the Old Man image.  I wasn't sure if you'd have an image of him/her/it like the Baldies do.
