I would find it difficult too... I don't see them achieving a consistent album. And besides, there's just about nothing I would take out of The Division Bell (it's all great). Amused to Death is a great album too, but there are a few songs I don't like so very much. Sure enough, if Amused to Death had been done as a Pink Floyd album, with Gilmour and Wright, it should have reached the classic Floyd masterpiece status (I particularly think about what Gilmour could have done with the guitar solo on What God Wants part 3; though on the other side, on some parts Jeff Becks guitars are just perfect... I particularly don't see Gilmour doing a better job on it's a Miracle)

OK, just for fun, here are my favourite tracks from each album, I'll try to put them in a fitting order... just imagine them performed by the classic Pink Floyd line-up:
Cluster One / Marooned
Perfect sense 1 & 2
The Bravery of being out of Range
A Great Day for Freedom
Wearing the Inside Out
What God Wants 2
What God Wants 3
It's a Miracle
Coming Back to Life
Keep Talking
Amused to Death
High Hopes.

Of course, it would loose some consistency both lyrically and musically. But perhaps if they had woked such an album from the beginning to make it more cohesive, it would have been great... and then just a thought, put in a few songs from Broken China too to make it even better (but then it would have needed to be a double album).

It would be interesting too to do the same thing with The Wall... put in some of the music created by Gilmour and Wright from their solo albums from the same time and see what could have been if they would have wanted to contribute more (and if Waters had been willing to accept such contributions).
