The Angle Makes The Dream presents: the 'Part One' EP

Yours for absolutely free to stream or download, or even ignore!

Simply 3 demo tracks which I've done nothing with for a while, now they're yours to love, hate, like, dislike, criticize and praise, including a considerably new track (written and recorded on the 22nd of December; to be released in a more polished format at a later date) in the opening track 'Sometime Soon.'.

Since some of you have taken interest in my music, I thought this'd be a good way to get some more out there for you to hear. Enjoy.

OMG!

I really like The Nuclear Tapes, Joel. Very atmospheric and dark, and you made it sound really good! Clap
It manages to create some tension, which is a really good thing.

That was my favourite, but Circadian Current is very likable too. It reminded me of the friendly parts of Bath.

This version of Sometime Soon sounds a bit rough though, but I suppose that will be different when you will release a more polished version later like you stated.
Sometimes the piano and guitar tracks sound a bit unconnected, like at the 1:19 mark.

Overall I think it's a pretty good EP, with The Nuclear Tapes being the clear highlight for me.
I'm looking forward to hear more music of you in the future, Joel. Thumbs Up

Wow, Its Christmas eve and I am sitting here watching 2004 Japanese film "Godzilla: Final Wars" and the credits roll and guess who did the music - KEITH EMERSON!!!!!!!!!

What a weird little movie.

Not too bad, though cheesy effects.

Typical Godzilla flick.

Dis sounds like Toby Driver.
Sometime Soon - interesting melancholy keyboards
Nuclear Tapes - slow intro, very soft doomy at times, feeling of dread throughout but no nasty shocks thank goodness.
Circadian Current - guitars are good, though too sparse for my tastes.

yeah! Nothing much else on and it has its moments including a cool bike chase and some nice tough ladies. Love the Star wars shoot outs too! LOL How about that dialogue! "we need a regular take of the mitochondria in your blood cells. if you want to live here like farm animals we dont mind...."Shocked
Not much of Godzilla in it is there?

I'm not really watching it, most of my TV viewing begins a bit later, unfortunately most of it's home shopping or weatherwatch by then. Unhappy But the TV guide says MADtv will be on at 2:30 so that's something for me to watch, I hope they're not lying.

I haven't seen a MAD episode with Spy Vs. Spy in it for years. Ahh the memories of being 5-8 years old. Or something like that.

Very good movie.  However, The Dark Knight is fantastic.  Hopefully that's next. Wink

It is interesting so far.  Different than the Michael Keaton/Val Kilmer movies.  I've not seen Dark Knight yet, but plan on watching it next.  I am curious to see how much darker that is than the other movies.

You haven't seen it? That's surprising. It's an absolute masterpiece.
