It doesn't help that most people (I assume) ignore everything Henry ever says.

Some crazy metal, esp with intolerable vox, would be more off putting.

I've manged to put people off with something as tame as Bitches Brew.

Just like with the unreasonable amount of time I put into the Simpsons poll. I pour my heart out for you people, and what do I get? NOTHING!

My favorite part of the article is that apparently the daughter of the crazy woman with the 10 year old believed in Santa until 7th grade and got into fights about it, oh mainstream society...
if you own a sodastream i hate you

First Utterance is not tame.  I played it once to an Opeth fan.  They hated it. LOL

Try Koenjihyakkei.  My ex-girlfriend hated them.

"Yeah, it's all true and I see what you're saying but dude....cmon f**k this stupidity"

AKA, is it really that big a deal? LOL

My floor at school is pretty good with my music, actually - I usually play it at a moderate volume with my door open, so they can hear it while in the hallway.  Though the Australian kid who lived across from me didn't like the Cardiacs, every time I played them semi-loudly he came over and asked if I'd close my door. LOL

But I thought a female Opeth fan may appreciate it... hahaha.  Unless they're ignorant ones, like this one.  She didn't even know they were an influence of the band.

I'd guess about 1% of Opeth fans know that
