Hmm, Sikth. I tried them out years and years ago and thought they were rather good. Should perhaps reconnect.

Yeah? Well I am going to try them. The one song I heard on the radio seemed decent Though this DJ was way too high on their influence. OR has no clue about Meshuggah, but I'd find that tough to believe Your soundtrack should be pop, shoegaze, and country. naturally.

You can do it!
And lol, you'd be hard pressed to find a more influential underground metal band than Meshuggah save Opeth or something.

I'm listening to Edge of Sanity. Some of their other albums are not too bad.
Oh, and I know Slayer is lol (esp past 1990!) But "World Painted Blood" is surprisingly good. Also some amounts of melodicism and differentness (at least as much as Slayer will ever make)

Mercyful Fate is quite sweet, but the falsetto screams border on ridiculous at times.

ah Sweden they know their metal, but how did they become so good at it, it is one or two of the big mysteries of life
Meshuggah, Opeth and Pain of Salvation (and many many many more), are the most important (progressivly speaking)
I think it is all about the food swedes eat, that is the secret key to unlock the metal-chain.

Also, I just totally figured out a Don Cab song while fiddling around with random chords.
And with that I am off to bed.

Pekka, don't you actually study at your school? You're always online when you're there...
