Well, I guess. But it would be more about taking away everything I've ever known and relied on (except my car I guess), and seeing what I make of it.
|
That's part of it. I don't mean confines like rules, parents and that jazz. In general. Everything we rely on ARE indeed confines.

Meh In a way it's quite a dream. You know, I've begrudgingly accepted technology, (what choice is there?) but it pisses me off. As does general society and human beings at times. Would be nice to go Thoreau and literally live in the woods, in a shelter made on my own. But I don't have the balls. And much as it pains me, I WOULD miss certain people/things and feel bad for doing that to my family.

Quoted for probably being true. Although I am personally hoping for wacky hi-jinks along the Great American Highway including but not limited to getting Shanghaied into being a roadie for a mildly popular band, meeting a traveling group of somehow attractive, free-spirited and sexually liberal women (with or without dreadlocks), having at least one LSD adventure, and solving a mystery of a haunted inn.

Does sound nice Drew. And has to be with dreads man.
I honestly, truly have no idea what would make me happy. Best I can do is find what does it best, and make up for the rest however I could. A long (real long) relationship would be a big help. And I'm generally fine, but whenever I'm too settled I can be hit with pretty bad bouts of being loneliness.
Oh man I said it. Guess I do have those damn feeling things.

That's it. Give into the catharsis.
You could probably do with some venting, too, Matt.

Oh whew. Thanks Matt! The cork on that bottle almost got loose, but I put it in tighter and buried it deeper! And Drew bud, you MUST remember how much I used to bitch So many classic PA emo-fests. Boo hoo she went away to college with barely saying a goodbye to me, how can she not know how much I cared even though I never said so. I don't particularly miss that part of me. At least the part that was f**king stupid and complained about what was in my control.

I used to whine way more. Not about my relationships (or lack thereof) though.

Matt has no feelings. I pretend that I don't have emotions, but he is the true unshakable brick of SR.
By the way Matt, I have a good story for you. My coworker is getting some sort of IT associate's and he's in developmental math this semester (which, because it covers things you should have learned in even the crappiest high school, doesn't count as credit towards your degree). This is because his computer froze most of the way through taking the math placement test and he had to start over. After he got through a few problems starting over, he got so angry about wasting the past hour or whatever he ragequit and got a horrible score. It was very hard for me not to laugh out loud when he told me this.

Matt does have feelings. :( And wow, that's gotta suck. I can't imagine having to do anything below what I had to start in. The good thing is that I did virtually no homework and still got a B based on test scores.

Oh no, now Matt has admitted he has feelings. All hope is lost. We are human, perhaps much more than we wish to be. (PoS, f**k yeah!)
And that is fairly hilarious Henners

The real question I leave you with tonight is:
Are we human, or are we dancer?
Think about it.
Sleep.

I can understand ragequitting, but why would you actually take the remedial class? You can retake the test every 3 months, just do something else that semester and get into a real math class next one, jeez. Although he's told me he has an associate's in English, and you need to take math for the liberal arts I and II to graduate with the AA so I don't understand why he would need to take the placement test. Maybe he's lying, though, because there's no AA specialization in English at my school. And they make the computer science people take Calculus here so he's got a long road ahead.
