I had Mrs. He-Chen for my first math class in college.  You could barely understand her, but she was still one of the best math teachers I ever had. 

She'd be like, "If you change-a theese numbah, the graph get a skinny and a skinny, is a?  And if you change-a theese numbah, it get a fattah and a fattah, is a?"  LOL
