I can [sort of] growl.  My growls are very throaty like Jason Byron's, and I can do a decent Akerfeldt impersonation on clean.

Good,goooooood.

And seriously, whenever the f**k I can do this...I need vox. Clean, screaming, growling, shrieking everything. It would be awesome if it could be a PA contribution party!

All I need is a drum set Cry
And some decent way of recording Cry

Never really tried, but I am 99.99% certain my growls also suck. Can't scream well, certainly can't do clean.
I once tried some agalloch vox and it was said they weren't too bad LOL

Problem is, I can never get a chance to practice.  And where does one practice growling?

Screams I definitely cannot do.

In the growling room, silly.
I can do somewhat decent hardcore screams although I have no endurance.

Mmm, this song has such good ambiance... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............

Joel, we need some hardcore vox.  And I need to practice my extreme vox.  Last time I tried recording some growling my throat bled.  Icky.

Deffs not for the live renditions, but for the studio recording we can deffs just record it about 30 seconds at a time.

lono

Unlike that wonderfully sexy mess, this is my own solo project! I just will need some guests, and of course I would love to have my PA brethren involved. Just one or two per release though, these 20 person efforts are a bit much.

None of us are Frank Zappa K?Cry

Yeah, exactly my thoughts.  It might work better if we met up in person somehow...

And I knew that RTC would go the way it did pretty quickly...

That presents its own set of difficulties. Though given the time, and money, I would love to drive the country a bit. Maybe see ya guys along the way!

Joel...well he presents another degree of difficulty.
I was hopeful, I really was. But yeah, obviously not all were serious...and such a large effort, entirely online...it would've been awesome but damn difficult to pull off.

Or we could all meet up in the astral planes like I've been saying all along!

I still have my half-recorded RTC track somewhere, I actually thought about it yesterday. When I'm done with my own album, this, that and etc, I might record more of it, but nobody would care anymore.
