Also, if you recall Bonnek's thread about artists encouraging people to manipulate PA ratings, Bonnek told me what happened. The last 3 pages turned into an argument about Guy Manning somehow, and I don't know what people said, but Guy threatened to sue PA for libel. Oh Guy....

Stained glass = third album.

Also, manipulate my ratings please.  In a good way.  Or I will sue you.

The whole thread was hidden, I assume they're trying not have this turn into an "incident". I'm surprised the admins caved and nuked the whole thread, Guy would not have had a case in Canada, I'm not sure he would even have had a case under England's ridiculous laws. Legal threats from an individual on the internet are always idle threats, pursuing that suit probably would have bankrupted him, but oh well...

But, Mr. Anderson, what good is doing collab work if there's nobody to see it?

Guy Manning straight up admitted that those people giving him 5 stars and Iridule, Coyote, that Isahn album, etc. 1* were his friends and neighbours. (and I can guarantee the only album out of the ones they rated - all 2010 releases - was the Manning album, if even that).  That's the last I saw from that thread, I stopped reading it.  But this isn't really the place to discuss it :P

Why would I do what other people do for me? Tongue

I'm really thinking about doing the bandcamp thing.  From everything I've researched (and experienced) with them, I really like it.

I'm thinking about the possibilities.

I think I'm a pretty okay musician, but I'm a sh*tty salesman.  All I want is to entertain people for a little while and hopefully pay some bills.  I could use some money, and people might be more willing to donate than they would be to buy something (if my limited experience in this crazy field means anything).

Yeah Ive been away for a bit, but I may become active on MMA again.
As you said, besides the useless debate we can actually build the site Smile
Instead of suggesting bands here, having them all rejected after a wait of months LOL
