Zu is an avant-metal band.  sounds like Jean Louis playing metal, IMO

This seems the right moment to play Trout Mask Replica again.

Also, yes, Zu is awesome, but I recommend the use of earplugs when seeing them live.

Very choppy distortion riffing, what a time sig!!! Zu actually defy description. Its kind of a metal Zappa-esque Avant Garde Crimson sound... actually that may not be an apt description. Drums are great too. Its quite aggressive. My dog Meeko rolled on her back as soon as it began lol.

HAH! True. I thought it would be action packed at least, but it was hella boring. There was also hardly any 3D at all.

Yes, it's very intense music. The entire album is an extremely intense experience actually.
I love how well the sax works as lead instrument, it completely blows away any kind of distorted guitar.
They also have one of the most driving and powerful rhythm sections I know.

I can hardly imagine the two of them making angelic music. I tend to think they would rather make music to piss off angels.

Absolutely - I am loving Axion. The sax is powerful, and reminds me of Jackson of VDGG. It could be described as a metal instrumental version of VDGG in some ways. I take it they are on the PA. If so I would be interested in reviewing this album. Are there any download links>?

The Australian Ministry of Internet Censorship will arrest your ass if you try and download anything.LOL

Also, this kind of conversation (downloading stuff, etc) is forbidden in PA, AFAIK.Wink One of the reasons why we use tinychat.

No, I meant legal downloads that the band send for promo reason, like Guy Manning or The Enid, where they have streaming of songs to listen to for reviewing purposes only....
