no, Ibanez is for sissies.  Also, they are a terrible company with hardly any quality control, consistency, or customer support.  ESP makes far better looking, sounding and playing guitars

You guys would have been proud of me.  I actually ordered a beer with my dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings the other night.  It was some dark beer from a local brewery.  It sort of reminded me of a Guinness.  I prefer beer that tastes likes Killians, but this one wasn't too bad.

Jimmy Page's hippie Tele, with flower designs on it, from before we turned to Gibson, is quite cool.

RE their qualities as music instruments, I don't have the slightest clue what are their pros and cons.

Telecasters are perfect for country music.

I play a white Strat and an Ibanez semi-hollow bodied most of the time.

Too poor for a Gibson, but the ones I played weren't that great.

I have my eye on a Parker Fly.  Weighs less than a newborn baby and sounds amazing.
Parker is for pop music basically, the sound is pretty much plastic and a little thin, so it's good if that's what you want.

Gibson, only if you play blues like a master, they are excellent for bends and warm chords, but awful for heavy riffing... I have played with many Gibson in my life and I have to say, no comparisson, Ibanez is way better, but of course, I want to play heavy rock... I would want to buy a Parker, for a less heavy project, but that's only a dream... no money, no Parker... Unhappy

Have you actually tried a Parker Fly?  I have.  What a mistake.  I drool on myself just thinking about the tones and playability of that guitar.

I should note that Adrian Belew plays one.

Omg, Parker Fly = boner.

ESP's are very nice, and definitely sound better than a stock Ibanez, but nothing beats the feel of an Ibanez neck.  So nice

Sure beats a school lunch, eh Henry?  Wink
I actually never went to a public school through high school, so there's no personal reason for me to upset about the quality of school lunches except through second-hand knowledge, but what I've heard is pretty appalling. However, I also have apparently am abnormal with regard to food. I was the only person I knew at my college who didn't complain about the overally quality and variety of the food at the cafeteria (at the new cafeteria, which I happened to live by, the old cafeteria was pretty gross, and there were a few unbelievably bad dishes that I only had to try once), except when they would randomly decide that tonight is fish only night because I hate seafood. But the school cafeteria was also a lot more varied (and expensive) than what you would get at a typical high school. I guess it's because my mom is not bad at cooking, but she has a very limited range, so I don't mind eating the same things over and over again.

Sadly, I haven't, I do want to put my hands over a Fly, but there are none in Guatemala, and of course, I will buy an Ibanez just for the costs, but yes, one day you will buy it Rob, and I will visit you someday so I will try it, k?
